Transgender Day of Remembrance

As Transgender Visibility Week comes to a close it is now the Transgender Day of Remembrance wherein we honour our transgender sisters, brothers, and siblings who have lost their lives to transphobic bigotry.
Given the election results that feels especially poignant this year. According to the Human Rights campaign 33 trans people have lost their lives to transphobic violence in the past year. I worry for what that number will look like next year.
