  • TransOhio
    • TransOhio is dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of trans, nonbinary, intersex, and gender nonconforming people in Ohio.
  • Equality Ohio
    • Equality Ohio was founded in 2005 by a group of 65 dedicated LGBT activists and allies from all corners of Ohio after voters passed a constitutional amendment prohibiting same sex marriage and civil unions. Over a decade later, Equality Ohio’s work is broad and focuses on multiple aspects of LGBTQ equality in Ohio.
  • The Buckeye Flame
    • The Buckeye Flame amplifies the voices of LGBTQ+ Ohioans to support community and civic empowerment through the creation of engaging content that chronicles our triumphs, struggles and lived experiences.

Northeast

  • LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland
    • As one of the nation’s oldest LGBTQ+ community centers and among the most prominent organizations in the state, we offer high-quality programming, services, and events to meet your personal and professional needs.
  • Love on a Mission
    • Love on a Mission is a non-profit organization that is creating a safe place for LGBTQ+ youth in our community to feel unconditionally loved and accepted for being their authentic selves.  We are currently meeting weekly to offer support, advocacy and education.  Our goal is to have our own facility and also have available an emergency bed shelter for those that find themselves homeless after coming out to their families.
  • The Bayard Rustin LGBTQ+ Resource Center
    • At the Bayard Rustin LGBTQ+ Resource Center, we’re dedicated to providing comprehensive care for all LGBTQ+/SGL individuals. Recognizing the disparities within Summit County, particularly among people of color and non-binary individuals, we offer culturally inclusive services tailored to our clients’ needs. As the only statewide LGBTQ+ drop-in facility, our range of services includes testing, housing referrals, mental health support, anti-violence programs, a food pantry, clothing closet, community meals, and discussions. Our compassionate team is committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone can access the support they need to thrive.
  • Akron Pride Festival
    • The mission of Akron Pride Festival is to unify and affirm the LGBTQ+ community and allies in celebrating our diversity and promoting our likeness. We will promote acceptance of all individuals by defending human equity.
  • CANAPI
    • Our mission is to serve and promote the well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ+) community and persons at risk and/or affected by HIV through education, support services, quality housing, and advocacy.
  • Geauga SOGI Support Network

  • North Coast Men’s Chorus
    • Established in 1988 as a local group performing in area churches, the North Coast Men’s Chorus has grown into the largest LGBT arts organization in Northeast Ohio with over 100 members. Each year the Chorus performs before 30,000+ people at venues that have included Playhouse Square’s Hanna, State, Mimi Ohio, and Connor Palace Theatres, the Maltz Performing Arts Center, Severance Hall, and numerous universities.

  • Colors+ Youth Center

  • Greater Dayton LGBT Center
    • Greater Dayton LGBT Center strives to offer a comprehensive, community-based service organization to the gender and sexual minorities of the Dayton and Miami Valley area by providing event spaces, activities, and resources that encourage advocacy, education, and entertainment.
  • The LGBTQ+ Community Center of Darke County
    • Founded in January 2024, the LGBTQ+ Community Center of Darke County is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a Darke County where LGBTQ+ residents and allies feel safe, valued, welcome and heard.

  • Crossport
    • Crossport is a not-for-profit* social support organization serving transgender individuals in the Greater Cincinnati and surrounding area, including partners, families, friends, and other allies.
  • Cincinnati Black Pride
    • Founded in 2018, and active year-round, Cincinnati Black Pride aims to mobilize the Black LGBTQ+ community to promote health, education, and awareness, as well as social and cultural wellness, to the people in the Tristate living at the intersection of Black and LGBTQ+ identity.
  • Imperial Sovereign Queen City Court of the Buckeye Empire
    • The Court is a regional, Cincinnati-based 501(c)(3) incorporated, non-profit organization that seeks to support the financial needs of the Tri-State area’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning community and several other organizations through various fundraising events. To date, we have raised over $1.5 Million for our various charities. We are a member Court of the International Court System.
  • GLSEN Greater Cincinnati Chapter
    • GLSEN Greater Cincinnati is a grassroots initiative, working locally in our community to ensure safe schools for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. There are 43 Chapters around the country doing this important work. Join us today!

    • Ohio Lesbian Archives has been collecting materials by and about Lesbians and Greater Cincinnati LGBTQ+ communities for more than three decades. We are open by appointment for students, researchers, or anyone curious about our collections. We have books, magazines, photographs, music, personal and organizational files, newspaper clippings, video, art, and so much more!
  • OUTCincinnati
    • OUTCincinnati is hosted by Chris and Melissa from the Radio Artifact Studios. The program covers the Greater Cincinnati LGBT+ community and beyond. Interviewed are politicians, artists, musicians, drag queens, and anyone with a great Cincinnati story to tell.
  • Public Allies Cincinnati
    • Public Allies is a social justice organization committed to changing the face and practice of leadership by recruiting and training talented emerging leaders, with a passion for social impact, to create meaningful change in our community. Our Allies are diverse, equity-centered, innovative problem solvers, dedicated to mobilizing community assets to develop solutions to local challenges. In partnership with nonprofit partners, we deliver our nationally recognized, values-driven, results-led apprenticeship to advance our mission to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it.

  • LGBTQ Center at the University of Cincinnati
    • The LGBTQ Center supports the mission of the University of Cincinnati through a commitment to diversity, equity, leadership development, and intellectual inquiry with particular respect to sexual orientation and gender identity. The Center is an inclusive campus community that welcomes people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and provides support, resources and advocacy. The Center facilitates LGBTQ visibility by promoting and enhancing understanding, acceptance, and awareness regarding LGBTQ issues.

    • WordPlay was founded in 2012 to give young people a safe, inclusive and inspiring place to come together, uncover and share personal narratives, and determine how their creativity and voices contribute to a more just and equitable community. 

Northwest

  • Equality Toledo
    • Equality Toledo works to eliminate discrimination in our region based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, through education, activism, and other anti-defamation efforts.
  • Toledo Pride
    • The Toledo Pride Festival is a large-scale, outdoor event showcasing the best local entertainment. This annual festival boasts a pride parade, food, merchandise vendors, and networking with numerous community organizations, including social groups, churches, and health and wellness groups.
  • TransToledo
    • Trans Toledo is a nonprofit organization that provides the Toledo area trans people with support.
  • T.A.T.S. (Toledo Area Transgender Support)
    • T.A.T.S. (Toledo Area Transgender Support) is Northwest Ohio’s local transgender support group.
