- Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition
- MTPC works to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and lived equity of all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive community members in Massachusetts.
- GLSEN Massachusetts Chapter
- GLSEN Massachusetts is a grassroots initiative, working locally in our community to ensure safe schools for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. There are 43 Chapters around the country doing this important work.
- Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth
- The Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ youth advises others in state government on effective policies, programs, and resources for LGBTQ youth.
- MassEquality
- MassEquality is the leading statewide grassroots advocacy organization working to ensure that everyone across Massachusetts can thrive from cradle to grave without discrimination and oppression based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We partner across identities, issues, and communities to build a broad, inclusive, and politically powerful movement that changes hearts and minds and achieves policy and electoral victories.
- The Network/La Red
- The Network/La Red is a survivor-led, social justice organization that works to end partner abuse in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, kink, polyamorous, and queer communities. Rooted in anti-oppression principles, our work aims to create a world where all people are free from oppression. We strengthen our communities through organizing, education, and the provision of support services.
Western
- Generation Q
- Generation Q is a peer-led social support group serving youth and young adults 14-24. We meet in both Greenfield and Northampton.
- House of Colors
- A resource center designed for and by LGBTQ youth and their allies.
- Translate Gender
- Translate Gender works to generate community accountability for individuals to self-determine their own genders and gender expressions.
- Out Now
- The only queer youth organization in Springfield MA, Out Now provides a safe space for queer youth & allies who are 22 yrs and under to learn about themselves, develop lasting friendships and leadership skills, explore LGBTQ+ history, and so much more.
- The Stonewall Center
- The mission of the Stonewall Center is to provide support, resources, programming, and advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA) and allied students, staff, and faculty at UMass Amherst and for the larger Pioneer Valley.
Central
- Safe Homes
- We are Safe Homes, a program supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) young people, and their straight allies, between the ages of 14 and 23.
- LGBT Asylum Task Force
- The LGBT Asylum Task Force provides shared housing for LGBTQ asylum seekers in Worcester, Massachusetts. If funds are available, we provide a small monthly stipend to pay for food, transportation, and other basic expenses. Housing and stipend support continues until asylum seekers receive their work permits (EAD).
Northeast
- North Shore Alliance of GLBTQ Youth
- Our mission is to honor, respect, educate, and empower LGBTQIA+ youth.
- Waltham House
- Waltham House is the first residential group home in New England designed specifically for LGBTQ+ youth, and was among the first of its kind in the nation when it opened in 2002. Its founding principles are that every child deserves to live in an environment in which they feel safe, respected, supported and cared for by those around them.
Southeast
- The LGBTQ+ Network South Coast Massachusetts
- The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create and support a thriving LGBTQ+ community on Massachusetts’ South Coast where individuals can freely, safely, and joyously celebrate their true selves and realize their full potential.
- Cape & Islands Gay & Straight Youth Alliance (CIGSYA)
- The CIGSYA House is a place where young people can enjoy meetings, drop in times and special events where there is camaraderie and support, in a peer lead, adult advised environment, free from judgment based on inherent differences.
Boston
- OUT MetroWest
- OUT MetroWest builds communities where LGBTQ+ youth thrive.
- Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Youth (BAGLY)
- For nearly 50 years, BAGLY has been a youth-led, adult-supported organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining and advocating for programs, policies and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community in Massachusetts.
- QT Library
- The QT Library nurtures the curiosity and magic of the queer and trans community through centralized resources and curated programs held in an affirming space.
- LGBTQ Senior Housing
- LGBTQ Senior Housing’s mission is to facilitate access to welcoming, safe and affordable housing for low-income LGBTQ seniors, including through a formal role in the development of such housing; to define onsite housing services and programming that addresses the needs of LGBTQ seniors; and to support community space to serve seniors in the Greater Boston community.
- GLASS (GLBTQ+ Adolescent Social Services)
- GLASS provides a continuum of services to LGBTQ+ youth of color and their allies in the Greater Boston area. As a leader in LGBTQ+ youth services, we also provide education and consultation to other providers and community organizations.
- Boston Pride for the People
- Boston Pride For The People is a volunteer-led organization that plans activities and events that celebrate the rich diversity, culture, and intersectionality of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Bisexual Resource Center
- The Bisexual Resource Center works to connect the bi+ community and help its members thrive through resources, support, and celebration. We envision an empowered, visible, and inclusive global community for bi+ people.
- Gay Fathers of Greater Boston
- We are a network of gay and bisexual men with children living with us or apart from us. Some of us are divorced, some separated, and some still married. Some of us are in committed relationships with other men.
- Boston Area Trans Support
- We are a peer-run support group for trans and non-binary adults in the Boston area. Working together for over twelve years, we strive to create an inclusive community, provide peer support, and ensure a safe space for trans and non-binary people.
- Boston Gay& Bisexual Married Men’s Support Group
- A discussion group for gay and/or bisexual men who are/were married to a woman, including those who are working to preserve the marriage and those in the process of separation or divorce.
- Trans Community of New England
- The Trans Community of New England (TCNE) is a Boston area transgender support organization for the transgender community.
- Trans Health Program at Fenway Health
- The Trans Health Program at Fenway Health supports members of trans and gender diverse communities, their families, and the providers who serve them. We provide patient-centered, evidence-based care to ensure trans and gender diverse people are informed and affirmed in their gender and healthcare needs.
