    • Out, Proud and Healthy is a statewide effort to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ health disparities in Missouri and connect people with resources and community.

Central

  • The Center Project
    • We provide community resources, like a curated library, a gender affirming healthcare provider list, a closet with free clothing for LGBTQIA+ folks in need, and supportive programming and activities for LGBTQIA+ youth, parents, and transgender and non-binary adults. We also provide resources to improve the well-being of LGBTQIA+ people in Missouri through inclusivity education, community outreach, and collaborative partnerships with other groups doing equity and justice work. 
  • Mid-Missouri Pride
    • Every year, our event is held in Columbia, which is a central location for Missouri and for the last several years, we’ve enjoyed hosting the event at Rose Music Hall and the streets surrounding, making it easy for our community to attend. The board is comprised of LGTBQIA+ individuals, allies and friends that are from the central Missouri area and bring many years of knowledge of our community to the table!

Southwest

  • JOMO Pride
    • JOMO PRIDE INC. seeks to eradicate discrimination and prejudice of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and a sexual communities, foster and encourage a sense of pride, inclusion and diversity, and to educate and promote awareness of health, culture, diversity and acceptance of individuals based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. Furthermore, we aim to boost a positive image of JOMO PRIDE INC. and our LGBTQ+ communities through safe community events, fundraisers, charities and educational outreach.

Southeast

  • Cape Pride
    • It is our hope that by being involved with the local community we can learn more about the specific needs of our LGBTQ+ family, while at the same time generating positive change through education and the development of needed resources.  Cape Pride is currently interested specifically in our youth and transgender members who are often times at higher risk.  An LGBTQ+ resource center is a long range goal for our group, as it would help us better serve individuals of the entire LGBTQ+ community in the surrounding area.

North

We are here to champion equality, acceptance, and empowerment for all individuals, regardless of their race, religion, appearance, sexual orientation, gender identity, or for any other non-harmful reason. We actively and proudly practice an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and anti-hate policy. Any member found not to uphold these values will not be welcome in our spaces.
