About Me

Hi,
My name is Jacob. I was born in 1984 to military parents and I have lived all over the world and the US as a result of that. I navigate this world as a white masc nonbinary Jew, and I have held a wide variety of jobs ranging from paper boy, to professional boy scout, to paramedic, and more.
Growing up in as many places as I have, and the wildly varied experiences that I have had as an adult has given me lead me to a worldview of tolerance, and acceptance. I believe in equality, and that the only way to truly achieve equality is through equity. My politics are very left of center, but the recent election has led me to not wanting to give myself any political labels beyond that. I am an independent as I choose not to be beholden to any political party.
Beyond that I love sports especially, football, hockey, baseball, soccer, and cricket. I particularly love women’s sports especially the PWHL. I am trying to learn to play the guitar as my ADHD allows, I also enjoy video games, and spending far too much time on TikTok.
Ultimately my raison d’être is to help people and that is why this site exists.
